Jon Clarenbach
Jon is excited to return to Oregon after spending the last twenty-seven years in Missoula, Montana. He grew up in Eugene, Oregon graduating from the University of Oregon with degrees in Economics and International Studies and holds an MBA degree from the University of Montana. Jon founded Western Cider in 2015 creating an award winning cidery and received the Montana Placemaker of the Year from Governor Bullock in 2020 for his community work. He has been a financial manager for a Tibetan Buddhist retreat center, a state humanities council, and a multi-cultural environmental education organization. Additionally, Jon has offered financial and strategic consulting across the Northwest to non- and for-profit organizations developing local food systems, improving housing affordability and aiding regional cideries. Jon enjoys travelling, telemark skiing, backpacking, river running, spending time on the Oregon Coast and exploring the West.
