Partner Funding Application Form

Applications are due January 12, 2023. We will notify all applicants after July 1st of the status of their application. Awarded funds must be used from July 1st of the year they were awarded through June 30th of the following year.

If awarded, funded partners must sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with WMSWCD and agree to the following terms. The partner organization will:

  1. Provide ACH electronic bank-to-bank payment information for funds processing. (Payment by check is an option if bank information is not available.)
  2. Conduct the work outlined in the funding request, as outlined and agreed upon in the MOU.
  3. Submit a report of accomplishments and/or specific scope-of-work tasks (with metrics and/or photos whenever possible) that were achieved with the awarded funds. Submit reports by June 30 to the WMSWCD staff person shown on the MOU.
  4. Optional and encouraged: Acknowledge the District as a funding partner in the organization’s communications related to this funding. (Contact renee@wmswcd.org with questions.)

Also include information about how this funding will address one or more of WMSWCD’s Strategic Directions found on the Financial Assistance page. Include Strategic Direction numbers in your narrative for reference.

Describe how funds will help enable work that engages underserved communities.

By signing this application for funds, the applicant certifies that: West Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District funds will be used only for the purposes approved by the district and will not be used for lobbying, for attempts to influence voting or legislation, or for litigation of any kind.
