WMSWCD Board Retreat – Day 2

The West Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District (WMSWCD) Board of Directors will be meeting for a two-part Board Retreat held via Zoom on Wednesday, October 7th, beginning at 6:00 p.m. and Friday, October 9th, beginning at 3 p.m. The public is welcomed to all District board meetings, and the meeting agenda allows for time for public comment.
The agenda includes a review of the Long-Range Business Plan Update (LRBP) information gathering process, a presentation and discussion of draft revised mission and vision statements, an equity lens review of these statements, further refinement the mission and vision statements and a decision to adopt finalized mission and vision statements, and a discussion to gather input on draft goals. The Long-Range Business Plan is a strategic planning document that guides the scope of the District’s conservation work and the necessary financial sustainability and organizational health to implement this work for the next 5 years (2021-2025). The agenda can be modified by the Board of Directors at any time during the meeting.
Any person may attend the meeting and make public comment by via Zoom. A conference ID number and/or link will be required to access the zoom meeting. Meeting documents will be available for inspection on the District’s webpage (https://wmswcd.org/people-places-things/people/board-meetings/) no later than Tuesday, October 6, 2020.
The Board of Directors typically meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m., and due to COVID-19 restrictions, in lieu of meeting in-person, meetings will be held virtually or via conference call until further notice.
