About Soil School

In non-pandemic times, Soil School is typically a day-long workshop that includes multiple sessions on a wide variety of topics – all having to do with soil. We are pleased to offer the workshop as a free webinar series this year, where all participants are able to attend any and all of the sessions.

We hope to return to a regular one-day event next year so students have the option to participate in hands-on learning in the Washington County Master Gardener Association Education Garden. Soil School is tailored toward gardeners, landscape professionals, and farmers in the community, and is designed to educate and provide networking opportunities for attendees.

Soil School is presented by West Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District and Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District. For more information, contact Renee Magyar, WMSWCD Communications & Outreach Manager at renee@wmswcd.org or (503) 238-4775 x101.
