Kim has lived on Sauvie Island her entire life. Her family operated a 250 acre dairy farm while she was growing up. It evolved into a beef operation and now comprises grass and food crops. Kim has a long history with the West Multnomah SWCD. Her father served as Treasurer for many years before Kim took over the Treasurer’s position for a few years. Kim has served on the SWCD board since November, 1999.
Due to Kim and her family’s many years of service to the District, Kim was honored at the District’s 2016 Annual Meeting with a special award and video detailing the Peterson family’s history and contributions. Please take a look!
